Committee chair – Rebecca Weiner
We have many ways to volunteer as we reach out to help others in our community and our world.
Being a Christian is about who we are and what we do. To All Saints, that means investing our lives in service to those in need – to our own, our community, and the world. We support …
Interchurch of Aurora – Provides food assistance, clothing, utility bills, bus tokens, RX assistance and baby items.
Crop Walk – An annual community walk raises money for World Hunger and local needs.
World Hunger/Lutheran World Relief Gifts – All Saints gives hundreds of dollars to world hunger and LWR relief efforts around the world. LWR is one of the first responders to world and local tragedy. 100% of your gifts go directly to them.
Lutheran Family Services – School supplies for refugee children.
Holy Hammers – Raising money and recruiting volunteers to build at least one Habitat for Humanity house a year.
Good Samaritan Fund – This is a fund set up for those with emergency needs.
Food Pantry – We provide emergency food for 10-12 families per week.
Quilting – Making 20-30 quilts each year to give to Lutheran World Relief.
Martha’s Table – Meals during times of illness, death, new baby, hospital stay.
Thanksgiving Baskets – Provides food for 40 families.
Mitten Tree – Each Christmas we collect gloves, scarves, and caps for the homeless.
Christmas Giving – We are able to provide a few families with gifts that would otherwise not be possible.
