Good morning all,
It seems everyday brings change in how we are functioning in this odd, unnerving time. I would like to take this time to share what’s been happening with our worship team and the church in general.
First, I hope you watched Megan’s Lenten meditation, it was excellent, so if you didn’t please take the time to do so.
Second, if you joined us for worship last Sunday you know we had some technical issues, but we ask your patience, that was the first time we’ve tried anything like that. We took the information we learned and will be pre-recording the service for March 29. This will then be posted to YouTube for you to watch on Sunday morning. The live Zoom had too many problems. We’ve added more music and changed the way we move the camera, so we hope this will be a better experience for you.
We continue to be the “Church better Together” as we gather for worship, as we gather to pray each day at noon and as we do our part in managing this virus by staying home. Our youth are gathering via Zoom and our Sunday school teachers continue to reach our kids.
I hope you’ve been getting calls from our leadership team and enjoying them. Some of you should be getting calls from the Transition Team as that work continues.
We continue to feed those who depend on us.
The work of All Saint’s continues and your participation and generosity are a major part of that work.
Megan talked about Kronos time, that is God’s time. And this “time” we are in is God’s time. Acts 17:28 tells us “we live and move and have our being” in God. Trust and cling to the promise of your baptism, you are beloved.
Hope to see you Sunday,
Blessings, Pastor Penni
